19th Jan 2009
Integra for Notes has won the Lotus Chief Technology Officer Innovation Award at Lotusphere 2009.
We were absolutely thrilled this morning at the Lotusphere 2009 General Session in front of 5,000 people to hear the announcement by Bob Picciano, General Manager Lotus Software, that Integra won this prestigious award for our Integra for Notes Symphony Edition.
The CTO Innovation Award recognizes those visionary IBM Business Partners who are leading the technology charge by exploiting Lotus' and WebSphere Portals latest capabilities in innovative, leading-edge, and exciting new ways.
These ground-breaking solutions are positioned to be drivers in tomorrow's new markets, fostering innovation and at an ingenuity level that stands out above their peers.
Final evaluation from among the short-listed companies took place at the Lotusphere 2009 Conference in Orlando, Florida by a team of 10 judges (see photo alongside). Lotusphere is the premier event for Lotus professionals and consistently attracts about 7,000 attendees.
"Winning the Chief Technology Officer Innovation award is one of the most satisfying outcomes for us at Integra. Innovation is crucial in the software business and this shows how our Integra product continues to leverage emerging technologies to provide greater value to users of our software" said John de Giorgio, CEO of Shireburn Software Ltd, the developers of Integra and Advanced IBM Business Partner.
