Documents exported multiple times
Issue: I am generating an Excel export from Integra for Notes and although I am selecting 10 documents, the Excel spreadsheet generated contains 14 rows. Various documents are duplicated. The same problem occurs with Word exports too.
Solution:
Integra is working as intended.
Lotus Notes allows the creation of a view which is categorised upon a multi-value field. An example is the standard MS-Office Library which has a By Category view which is categorized on the multi-value field called Category. (Too many categories in that sentence but I think you should be able to follow me). If a document has two entries in the Category field, then the document gets displayed in the view twice: once under each category.
If you generate an Integra for Notes report on documents which are in more than one category, then by default, that document will be exported twice.
If you wish to export documents in categorised views just once rather than per category in which they are available, set the option "Export Flat Categories" found in the Excel tab. For users of Integra 4.2 and older, this option is called "Export Notes Documents for the first Category only" and is found in the Integra profile's Advanced tab.
This setting will result in the document being exported only once. |
