Does Integra by-pass the security of my Notes environment?
Absolutely not.
Integra is a Notes native application, and is all database ACL settings as well as workstation ECL settings are fully respected.
Users of Integra for Notes only have access to export or import data to and from Notes databases that they already have access to. When exporting from a Notes database, it will only be those documents that the user has access to that will be exported. Any access restrictions on forms or reader name fields in documents are fully respected.
While on the subject of security, Integra profiles also have their own Reader Name and Author Name fields which allow the deployment of a particular profile to be undertaken selectively within an organisation. The Author Name field also controls the ability to edit a particular profile. |
